Alice Cooper Band Australian Tour

In May 2015, original “shock rocker” Alice Cooper will make his long awaited return to Australian shores. Touring with rock legends Motley Crue on what will be their final ever world tour, Alice Cooper brings his full theatrical stage show to major cities all over the country.

With more than 50 years in the music industry and such classic tracks as “School’s Out”, “I’m Eighteen” and “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, 2011 saw the original Alice Cooper Band inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Alice Cooper’s current touring band is a Tour de Force of outstanding musicianship with Chuck Garric on bass, Glen Sobel on drums and a three pronged guitar attack featuring Tommy Henriksen, Ryan Roxie and most recently, Nita Strauss.

Grover Allman has a great relationship with all 3 guitarists and has been supplying Alice Cooper band with guitar picks for a number of years now, all 3 players are amazing musicians in their own right and we’re proud of our association with such industry veterans.

A recent Guitar World Magazine article ranks Nita Strauss as one of the “10 female guitar players you should know”, one of our favourite video clips shows Nita playing an Iron Maiden track live during one of her NAMM appearances. Nita is currently using our 0.80mm ISO shape Delrinex picks with graphics that reflect her passion for Star Wars and her beloved Sea Hawks! Nita recently collaborated with our design team to create a unique range of merchandise that is now available to purchase on her website.

Ryan Roxie teamed up with Alice Cooper back in ’96 and has featured on a whole host of albums and DVD’s, and as if he’s not busy enough he also has his own band Roxie 77 who’s latest 6 song EP 'The Ameriswede’ was released in 2014 and he also features on 2 albums for Swedish rockers Casablanca. Roxie enjoys being philanthropic and works with a number of humanitarian organisations including the P.I.F. Experience whose ‘Pay It Forward’ message encourages people to change the world, one random act of kindness at a time. Roxie is keen to make sure that the world is “just a little bit better than the day before”. Hat’s off to you mate . . . His current guitar picks are 0.71mm Standard Shape Celluloid picks and feature his now famous ’77’ graphics.

Tommy Henriksen is a man of many skills - in March of 2011 after serving as associate producer, guitar player, bass player, programmer, mixer and engineer on Alice Cooper’s Welcome 2 My Nightmare album he was asked by Alice to join his live band on guitar, Tommy has a well earned reputation for delivering the goods every time. Tommy’s pick of choice is out 0.65mm ISO Shape Delrinex pick and Tommy changes up his graphics frequently, usually featuring his own unique artworks.

Alice Cooper is touring nationally from 12th of May 2015 as part of Motley Crue’s “All Bad Things” tour, get along to a show and see if you can score yourself one of these picks!

Hey Sarah, Thanks for your request. Sorry, we don’t sell or giveaway our customer’s custom picks. You should contact the band/artist directly about how you can get their picks. Thanks!
