F.A.Q.
Can I split order requirements (eg. various gauges or pick colours)?
Yes, your order can contain a couple of different gauges if you have more than one guitarist. You can also have more than one pick colour if you want when ordering Classic Picks. However your print colour cannot be changed, your entire order will be made with the same colour print.
Do you accept credit cards?
We are processing credit card orders as an easy, secure online transaction. Please contact us by email if you would like to pay by credit card and we will send you all the details. We are not processing credit card orders over the phone.
What is the status of my order?
Customers are always welcome to call or email us about the status of an order. But usually from when you make your payment, your picks should ship within 14 days.
I need my picks in a hurry! Can I have them quickly?
If you have a specific deadline please let us know, we will always try hard to accommodate rush orders, it's not always possible though.
Our digital printer can produce Photo Picks extremely quickly. Depending on the order quantity your order can be in the post in just a few days.
To meet urgent deadlines we would suggest paying a little extra, and we'll send them Express Post.
Do you print on guitar picks produced by other manufacturers?
No.
Do you give away or sell picks that you produce for other artist/customers?
No.
Will my artwork look good on the picks?
As long as your artwork is sent to us at the correct size as an eps or jpeg file at 300dpi or as a native illustrator or photoshop file, your artwork should look good! If you're unsure, just email your artwork through and request a mock up. We'll produce a digital so you can see exactly how your picks will look when printed.
Do you sell blank picks?
If you don't want custom graphics on your picks head on over to our Online Store. We have a huge range of printed and blank picks available.
Can you print my full colour design on Delrin?
We only print full colour designs onto celluloid and polycarbonate picks. These are the only plastics that the ink really takes to, giving a long lasting print.
Do my photo picks need to have a white background?
All the picks we use start off white, but can be printed to be any colour you like. Even black! We can print the colour onto both sides, and you would never know it started off as a white pick.
Will the photo pick print scratch off very easily?
One of the reasons we only use celluloid and polycarbonate picks is because the ink stains into the plastic. This means that the print will last for a very long time, and you have to start scraping the plastic off before you lose the print!
My design is very detailed, with many fine lines. How will it look on a pick?
When you are creating your design, keep in mind that a pick is only about 3 cm square. Fine lines and text will not print very well and may come out slightly blurry. We suggest you send us your artwork via email and one of our designers will let you know if it will print clearly.
Can I put a photographic image on my picks?
Yes! Almost anything you can print with your printer at home, we can print onto a pick. Photos are a great idea for weddings, birthdays, bucks nights, you name it!
Is a portrait or landscape photo better to use on my picks?
Portrait photos and images are much easier to print onto a pick as the shape of the pick is basically portrait. It is sometimes hard to fit all of a landscape photo onto a pick so it is best to try use a portrait one.
Can I have a different design on each side of my pick?
Yes, our double-sided price covers having the same, or different images on each side of your picks.
I only want my photo pick design on one side of the picks, but I want the back to be a plain colour. Will you charge me a single or double sided price?
We would charge you the double sided price. The reason for this is that it takes the same amount of time to print an image onto one side, as it does to print solid colour on the other.
